My wife and I went to see Malik play in 5A state championship game. We counted he went 34/37 from 3 in warm ups- looks the part when he shoots the ball
He was immediately double teamed every time he touched the ball, still had 20 points and probably 5 assists 5 rebounds
He can go left just as quickly and hard as he can right
The thing that impressed me most is the way he attacks the basket AND uses his body to get to FT line. He plays with the IQ of an NBA player
David Sanders (Provine Posse, former Rebel) is a good guy but there is ZERO coaching going on- they just get out and run and first guy with clean look throws it up
Underwhelmed by a team who is ranked #4 HS team in country, and impressed with Malik's style of play
He, obviously, would be a program changer. Definitely a PG at next level
