Mike Tyson and Jake Paul will take to the ring tonight for a fight which has divided the sport of boxing. Tyson, 58, is giving away 31 years to Paul and is fighting professionally for the first time in almost 20 years, since he quit on his stool after five rounds against Kevin McBride. But Tyson has whipped himself into shape for this clash with the YouTube sensation.

Netflix is getting into the live sports industry. Since it was created in 1997, its main purpose was to bring TV shows and movies to televisions at home, but now, with the way streaming services have evolved, Netflix is getting in on the sports action.

The match is Netflix’s third time broadcasting a major live sports event. The platform recently got into live events, but only twice in the sports world. In November 2023, "The Netflix Cup" saw Formula 1 drivers team up with PGA Tour members for a round of golf. That was followed up by "The Netflix Slam," an all-Spanish tennis matchup between Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz.

However, those two events do not bring the same gusto as Paul vs. Tyson. Whether fans think these two fighters stepping into the ring together is "good for the sport," it's expected to bring eyeballs to the platform. Considering Netflix already is a mainstay in a majority of households around the world, it's much more easily accessible than other boxing matches.

Netflix is also taking the opportunity to get more content out of the event. It released a documentary titled "Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson" in order to get fans excited for the upcoming bout.

The weigh-in for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is complete, and the next time the fighters see each other, they’ll be punch-swapping before a packed AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 15. However, the action almost started early when Tyson slapped the younger man across the face during the traditional face-off.

Paul, 27, came in at 227 pounds, the heaviest weight of his five-year professional career. The Ohio-born YouTuber weighed a career-high 200 pounds for a TKO 6 win over Mike Perry in July, so he’s added the requisite bulk to compete against a natural, albeit ancient, heavyweight.

"He's made it personal now, and I'm gonna knock him the f**k out," screamed Paul in response to being slapped. "He hits like a bitch.... he must die!!!"

At 228.4 pounds, Tyson looked in great condition for a man of 58, but it remains to be seen if that translates into an acceptable performance on fight night. In his heyday, the former undisputed heavyweight champion hovered around the 215-pound mark, but he was as high as 239 when his career was winding down in the early 2000s.asdsadad

One bad human being. I don’t care if he loses. I would give anything too look like that at 58! It’s kind of sad, he doing it. Tyson made so much money. He and Elvis, blew so much money. It’s just sad.
