I took a quick peek at Georgia Tech transfer and Ole Miss commit Zamari Walton's PFF College numbers, and he had a nice year in coverage. The 6-foot-3, 185-pounder played 788 snaps for Georgia Tech this past season with the overwhelming majority at corner. He moved into the box 35 times and played a rush end position three times.
Quarterbacks targeted him 44 times on the year and 15 of those were completed for 300 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The long pass play against him was 78 yards and 112 of the 300 came after contact. Only one interception sticks out with basic numbers, but overall the completion percentage against him was 34 percent and QBs had a combined 57 NFL quarterback rating when targeting him. He committed four penalties on the season.
