I didn't know that this was being contemplated. I don't know if some of you remember what the field looked like in the late 90's and early 2000's with the natural grass, but I remember it looking like a disaster. Players couldn't even keep their footing in the South endzone area of the field. From hash mark to hash mark, the turf was just sliding around.
