I talked to Matthew Murrell and James White post-game. I looked for Jaemyn Brakefield, TJ Caldwell and Amaree Abram, but they were not in the locker room.
Murrell said he had not thought about his future yet. He said he had heard about Beard, didn't know him at all and would want to have a conversation with him before making any decisions. He said he and his family will talk about the portal and what he should do in the coming days.
White said he's not really sure what he's going to do, adding he wants to discuss with his family. Like Murrell, he'd heard the Beard talk but knows very little about him. He said he's still trying to make a decision and added that he's still trying to absorb how this season went and looking to make the best decision for his future.
