This is my projection and my opinion. Please feel free to discuss.
1. Oregon - IN
2. Ohio St - IN unless lose to Michigan
3. Texas - IN
4. Penn St - IN
5. Notre Dame - lose to USC and out
6. Miami - IN; beat Syracuse to get SMU
7. Georgia - beat Ga Tech and in
8. Tennessee - IN by beating Vandy
9. SMU - beat Cal then play Miami in ACC
10. Boise - IN
11. Indiana - IN, just gotta beat Purdue
12. Alabama - beats Auburn
13. Ole Miss - needs help ***
14. South Carolina - loser is out
15. Clemson - loser is out
16. Arizona St - inside track for Big 12 champ
So here’s what we need:
1. Rebs absolutely destroy State
2. USCe eliminates Clemson
3. Alabama loses to Auburn
4. SMU loses to Miami in ACCCG soundly
5. Notre Dame is safe even with a loss (they’ll get a bid over any 3 loss SEC team)
6. Vandy beats Tennessee knocking them out
7. Ga Tech beats UGA
8. Texas beats AM and UGA
If that happens, I think the bracket sets up like this:
1. Oregon
2. Texas
3. Miami
4. Arizona St
5. Ohio St
6. Georgia
7. Notre Dame
8. Penn St
9. Alabama
10. Ole Miss
11. Indiana
12. Boise
12 Boise @ 5 Ohio St
- 4 Arizona St (Fiesta Bowl)
9 Alabama @ 8 Penn St
- 1 Oregon (Rose Bowl)
11 Indiana @ 6 Georgia
- 3 Miami (Peach Bowl)
10 Ole Miss @ 7 Notre Dame
- 2 Texas (Sugar Bowl)
