Let’s say Auburn moves the ball, gains something like 550 total yards, but commits 3 turnovers and Ole Miss wins something like 34-30.

Same sort of circumstances for South Carolina and Vanderbilt. Ole Miss finishes 8-4.

Does Luke make changes, or does he say, “y’all did the best you could and need more time.”?

Before you say it’s a 100% possibility that Luke makes changes no matter what, it was around this time last year we all thought Luke was not a serious candidate. In short, don’t dismiss what a few rah-rah wins can do for job security.

I’m definitely in that conundrum where I’m obviously rooting for our team going forward, but in the back of my head, I’m thinking at what cost does every win jeopardize what’s needed to move the program forward with staff changes.
