To set the stage, he does not share Hillary's political views at all. He has been a CEO once or twice, and VP of Sales for a number of tech companies...so, he's a pretty bright person in his own right. He has a son that graduated from the Naval Academy.
Said she was the most laser-focused person he knew at their high school (him included) - and one of the top 3 laser-focused people he has ever known. She WAS the smartest person in the room and made sure everyone else knew it. He had no doubt that whatever her aspirations, she would be successful no matter what it took. She had a small clique of friends, because for them to be her friends...they had to agree with her a large majority of the time. Had utter disdain for people that disagreed with her and found them to be stupid (he found her to be quite arrogant). Discussed issues that were beyond what most "normal" high school kids even thought about. Socially...she was awkward at best. One of the most homely girls at his school. Asked him if they ever went out. Said he'd rather cut off his left nut than to go out with her. As a personal observation, he has no idea how she managed to get Bill to marry her?!? I think it would be very interesting to know exactly how this romance developed...fly on the wall, as it were!!!
Of course, this is only one person's opinion, but...based on watching her on TV (as little as possible) nothing he said seems to be way off base. I have no doubt she has a great deal of mental capacity, but her views on certain issues are just absolutely puzzling to me.
