Twitter debates about MS changing the state flag. All it is going to do is get some sides of the Rebel fan base and some Mississippi residents in an uproar and make our school/ state look bad.
And to put it out there I would rather the flag be done away with. I am not one of those who is arguing for keeping it. They should have changed it fifteen years ago when it came up the first time. However, social media is not the place to expect intelligent remarks. It will do more harm than good.
Besides, Ole Miss and the state of Mississippi face the race issue constantly. No need to start another battle. It's going to go away at this point. Just a matter of time.
