Where did I say Freeze played more ranked teams? My claim is that Freeze has a better record against ranked teams than Mullen. I provided some examples. Now if you disagree, how about you provide the list of SECW and ranked teams where Mullen holds a winning record. HINT: It won't take you long to do it. It's understandable why you fear Freeze and Ole Miss.
He should have a better record against ranked teams, because he had more talent.
But if he DOES have a better record against ranked teams, that also means he has a worse record against unranked teams in order to even out the number of wins with Mullen.
And again, this is with Freeze having a huge talent advantage.

Here's a fact. In his first season at Ole Miss (2012), Freeze took the same team that Houston Nutt won two games with in the previous year (and O-fer the SEC) and won 7 (including Bowl game), and along the way dismantled Mullen's team (Mullen's third season) in Oxford.
2012 season
Mullen was 8-5 (4-4) in his third year. Lost to Ole Miss and lost Gator Bowl
Freeze was 7-6 (3-5) in his first year. Beat MS STake 41-24 and won the B'ham Bowl.

When Mullen loses to Freeze again in a blowout the necks will probably fire hire. A big part of coaching is getting talent. Mullen is a poor recruiting. But no one has had much success at that hell hole so it's hard to put too much blame on him. I'm sure he'd do OK at a decent programm.

Bside, in the last 4 years Mullen has put more players in the NFL than Freeze. The last 4 years Mullen has also had the team he put together to coach while Freeze inherited the worst roster in D1 football and had to rebuild. I'd have to say the talent advantage for OM has only been there the last two seasons, while State had it the first 2 of your terrible 4 year scouting report.

State just got off 3 years probation for buying players. State was buying players AND paying them $1000 not to visit Ole Miss. State confessed to that and that was one of the sanctions.
