This is being proposed through backroom politics by MSU and Bully Bloc even though they are trying to deny it with their best face on. This would lead to a huge increase of state funding to MS State and a duplication of programs. MS State would receive a school of nursing and health sciences programs. The MS taxpayer would get soaked and Ole Miss would continue to subsidize MSU with Ole Miss's funding through their out of state tuition.
