Is the FSU situation the perfect example of why these GM roles are going to be as important as the head coach moving forward?
I don’t think anyone can say Norvell isn’t a good coach but it’s so critical to get the portal scouting accurate today, and it’s not just talent, it’s culture too. One bad portal season and it can go south quickly.
There’s just no way with how quick portal opens after the season that a coaching staff can scout all these guys, is going to come down to these other positions to do so.
Have to think Norvell is going to bring in new folks after this disaster.
All that said I think 90% of this board could have told him DJ sucks at QB
