It's still early in the summer but never too early to start thinking about football season. Since the game times were released yesterday I figured I'd put together a list of road games with away section locations as well. If you haven't been to a road game, there is nothing better than being a Road Reb. Every single person is locked into the game, and there is something about seeing a stadium empty out like at Williams-Brice or Reynolds Razorback Stadium last season or Davis Wade and Jordan-Hare in 2023.

This year we have just 4 road games, and only 3 total games outside of the state of Mississippi, however there is something for everyone.

Perfect for OM fans in the Midwest or Nashville: Kentucky on September 6 at 3:30
The away sections are 12 and 13, as well as the upper parts of 201-204 and 207-211. I'd suggest buying in sections around our lower level, if you cannot get into the OM section, 9, 10, 11, 14 are all in that area and tickets are in the $130 on SeatGeek for these. I expect ticket prices to settle in the $90s or less by the time the game gets here, so book hotels and/or flights and worry about tickets around game week. Unless it's a matchup like OM-UGA, tickets normally drop as game day approaches. But keep these sections in mind.

WEAR RED

Perfect for ATL area Rebs or those who want to see the biggest game of the year: Georgia on October 18 FLEX time
Sanford Stadium is great, and Athens is an awesome college town, even if their fans were less than cordial in 2023. OM will occupy the 1/3 of 103, the lower 1/2 of 102 and 103. 144 starts the student section in the corner, so look for the top parts of 101-103 as well as any of 104 and 105. We also have much of the upper level 601-611 but avoid sitting up here at all costs.

WEAR POWDER

Perfect for DFW, KC, OKC Rebs and those who need to check off Oklahoma's stadium for their bucket list: Oklahoma on October 25 at 11 am
Ole Miss has never played at Oklahoma, so for those trying to see Ole Miss at every SEC stadium, this is a big one. I expect it will also be the largest OM away crowd (maybe outside of Black Friday). The Ole Miss sections here will be 15 and the lower part of 16, as well as the upper parts of 226-235. These tickets are $200 face through OM/OU or significantly cheaper on the resell pages. I'd suggest sitting anywhere from 11-18 in that corner. The closer you get to the OM sideline, the closer you are to OU students as they are in 22-28. I expect these tickets to go down slightly ahead of gametime, as the 11 am kickoff will really hurt the resell market, but I'd jump in on any ticket below $150 as I figure this game will be on many Ole Miss fan's wishlist.

This is a Wear Navy game, but to stick out from OU fans, like we did last year in Columbia, I'd say WEAR POWDER, see below from USC:

Perfect for those who want to make this a home game and get out of the house on Black Friday: MSU on November 28 at 11 am

Ole Miss will be in section 24 and 25. This is a place we should absolutely swarm. Back in 2023, we had our best crowd there since Eli beat em 31-0 in 2003. We had nearly half of the away side, and this year should be even more. They're going to be terrible and the game is at 11 am on a Friday, meaning someone in Jackson would really want to watch their bulldogs get whipped to leave at 7 am or drive over Thursday. It's also the first day of duck season, so they've got other places to be. I will post the ticket link but tickets will be dirt cheap by the week of the game, so keep the link handy. In 2023, you could sit directly behind the OM bench on row 7 for $60 by Wednesday. I'd suggest ordering through OM of course, or buying in section 18-23.

WEAR NAVY if you are in 24 or 25, however I'd say WEAR RED or even POWDER if you are not, to make sure you stick out from maroon. With the game being at 11, you can get in and get out before the sun goes down. You don't want to be there after dark.

Currently, buying through MSU, you can sit midfield for $126.50.
