To be clear I think we are the better team by a fair margin, but someone is going to get left out when this is all over. I think we are perfectly fine and have the edge as is, but we need to shut up the national media. Tennessee played both Florida and Mississippi state. They took Florida to overtime at home. They didn’t look too great against State even though Nico went down. They keep on bringing up that Kentucky loss. We need blowout wins against both these teams to create separation between us and Tennessee and put the Kentucky loss behind us. At that point we would have too much leverage for the Kentucky game to mean anything. What happened in September doesn’t matter as much as what you’ve done lately. Obviously a different Ole Miss team today.
