Ok, so let start this off with some caveats:
1. Yes I know it's far too early to make any definitive statements regarding recruiting.
2. Yes, you can obviously damn sure build a serious playoff team with signing classes made up of mostly 4 stars and some quality portal guys.
That said, whether by accident, fate, or design, we don't seem to be "in on" any/very damn few 5 stars.
Is it because they're just too expensive/more trouble than they're worth for their NIL cost "slots"?
Does Kiffin just figure he can always grab one or more in the portal as needed when they're sophs or juniors, so don't worry about getting them out of HS?
