I'm not going to be the spin guy. I honestly don't know -- KNOW -- if today's three de-commitments are related or not. I guess that's possible, though I can't imagine Ole Miss cutting Jerome Myles. He's a high-level recruit. He likely enjoys the attention, and the other schools have good salesmen also.
All of that said, this is just part of the process. Ole Miss has processed some in the past, and when you recruit top-level guys, the other schools don't quit. Throw in the portal and I really don't know how anyone gets all that worked up over it -- not saying you guys are worked up -- until much closer to December.
By the way, keep an eye out for New Orleans (Edna Karr) defensive lineman Corey Adams Jr. A decision could come soon, and if it does, I like Ole Miss' chances.
