One strong thing that can unite democrats and republicans across our nation is keeping "CORE" industries in America and convincing former industries in America now in other countries to return to America.
One thing that Trump has nailed on message is reinvesting in America from Main Street to Wall Street. "CORE" industries meaning companies, plants, industries, manufacturers and acquirers of raw, natural resources are what he is primarily referring to.
Software-computer companies, car-vehicle plants-manufacturers, oil-natural gas, rare earth material miners, major consumer product companies, major clothing-fashion product companies and chemical-man made product companies (used in consumer products) are CORE industries that drive the world's economies.
Trump has picked up great support from a traditionally strong democrat area and that's the unions of America. He has also received great support from CEO's of major companies across America.
If the economy surges to strong heights in the next few years because of this administration's strong efforts to building up the American economy we could see a second term easily from Trump. The economy reaches all regions of the nation, reaches across all racial, gender and socio-economic lines, etc.
The other issues may not have much bearing on the next election. This may enable him to effectively reform and straighten out the immigration system. Building a border wall like the one the President wants may be easier in that regard and deportation of criminal illegal aliens may be easier as well.
Another thing that Trump may have more success at compared to his previous Republican predecessors (Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I and Bush II) is attracting and getting more African-American support-votes.
