Need a little help from those who have used the Direct TV Retention department. I have 8 direct TV boxes and many f them are old, some barely work. Slow changing channels, sometimes the channel numbers don't input properly etc. Our DTV bill is around $180/mo. and we don't have any of the fancy stuff like wireless boxes or one genie thing. I also don't other device access.
So I'm going to call tell today because my wife threw a tantrum last night aalong with the $300 remoted we had.
My question is do you take an aggressive stance with them...fix it or your out or be patient. I haven't called them to fix it because there people are a pain to deal with...'did you change the batteries, re set the box by pushing the read button...duh! Of course I did that.
