Seriously considering joining the Marine Corps reserves and commissioning as an officer. I got out after my 4 years and there is a unit with an infantry attachment not far from home. Benefits are very enticing. My wife now stays home so the additional pay would be nice. I believe if I wait another year I would need an age waiver.
Downsides are less time at home and I’m not sure how my job would view this endeavor….
