One thing I have never understood about our immigration policy in the USA is why we don't prosecute the companies hiring illegal immigrants?
The vast majority who come here undocumented are not coming here to starve. They are coming here because American companies and the US Government are making a market by offering them jobs. You dont need a DAMN WALL if you quit making a market for illegal labor! They will quit coming for the most part.
The 84 Lumber Ads tear at my heart strings and I cant help but think about how damn dishonest it is for American Corporations to entice people to risk their lives to come here and work for low wages.
The addiction that American manufacturers have for cheap labor and nothing but bottom line thinking is disgusting.
84 Lumber likes cheap, undocumented labor because they know if it goes away, they are going to have to raise lumber prices and it will affect the construction / housing markets negatively.
