I'm waiting for my updated passport that I sent off over 2 months ago. Expected timeframe told to me on the US Passport website at that time was approximately 8 weeks. I will be in need of said passport in a little over a month from now. When you call their options are
1. If you are traveling in over 2 weeks from now
2. If you are traveling within the next 2 weeks
So technically and obviously I am out of the 2 week window. Does anyone know if it is worth waiting on hold for the hour plus to speak to someone directly? I have tried twice and both times I have been on hold for at least 45 minutes but then had to disconnect for one reason or another. The online status just continues to state "no status available", but I know they have my request as they already deducted the payment that was included within the 1st week of submitting.
Just looking for advice from those that have possibly dealt with passport situation as of late
