About $1k to descale/clean the tankless water heater and replace our water pressure valve. Also fixed a fitting on the hot water line causing a leak.
We had a leak under the kitchen sink. Fitting on the hot water side failed and was a slight trickle and the faucet is leaking when on. Got a plumber to come out asap as we are leaving for Italy on Wednesday, so I’m at their mercy but wanted to know if I’m getting ripped off. I’m going to replace the faucet myself as I've done it a ton of times and the plumber said it wasn’t worth paying their price so that’s not in the $1k
ETA: I know the water heater descaling and water pressure regulator aren’t needed to stop the leak, just having them do that while here. Hard water in middle tn kills most of the fixtures and our water pressure has been getting bad lately
