When it comes to promotion and relegation in the English soccer system, are there any contingencies for newly promoted teams, or is it simply, if you finish in the bottom 2 or 3 you're automatically relegated?
For example, say Team A has a magical year and wins the EFL. If they then get obliterated their first year in the EPL, do they get sent right back down? Or is there a grace period of a year or so?
