OT: Should a dependent be able to compete/win a private Country Club event

In essence. Is it fair for your child to win the Club Championship, or should they be a paying member before they have eligibility?

My opinion......If my kid is allowed to be a part of my membership, he/she should be able to compete/win.

Am I wrong in that thinking....?
