First of all, not deflecting on our issues, I’ve shared frustrations many times on here during the season.
However, I've never seen a fanbase more excited at 1-6 (0-4). Which is odd because they haven't kept a team within double digits since week 2. I guess when you're 20-30+ point underdogs and your rival’s season is on the brink, that makes you somewhat happy about your rebuild situation.
The good news for them is they've probably put enough out there for Lebby to fundraise a bit. The problem is, their quarterback, Michael Van Buren, is a true freshman and has played very well. He's put enough on tape where some P4 school that needs a QB next year, like LSU, is going to throw a ton of money at him. If they pay him, good luck on getting quality players elsewhere.
That fanbase is going to be up in arms about NIL this offseason. Steve will be ready to sue someone, probably the NCAA. Bank on it.
