So I'm sure I'll catch some flack for this, but I'm not a fan of these touchy feely patty cake practice schedules. It looks like we're still having a lot of injuries.
Personally, I think soft and easy practices make for soft and easy teams.
Look, I fully admit that Kiffin has likely forgotten more football than I will ever know. But, that doesn't mean he's always right.
I recall reading about The Bear and his brutal practices, Vince Lombardi and his... and I saw first hand how rough Jimmy Johnson's were when he was with the Cowboys. It was Texas summer hot and they went full bore all the time. Won SB's. Had very few injures.
None of those teams had many major injuries at all, and none that I can recall had any season ending injuries.
Now if everyone else is doing it this way it may not matter, but that's the question I guess.
