Tee Shepard's mother comments:

This is what REALLY happened. I received this from 1-601-942-9017 on 10/20/2015 at 2:25 PM, "Tee: I wanted to follow up on an interview request. I saw you wanted an opportunity to tell your side of the story."

On 10/20/2015 at 2:27 PM, I responded, "This is his mother. We're not interested in an interview. It seems like the public is misconstruing statements and concerns. Thank you. Please do not contact this number again. Thanks."

On 10/20/2015 at 4:48 PM, 1-601-942-9017 texted back against my wishes, "This would be a chance to set the record straight. Tee said he wanted a chance to tell his side of the story. This would be a chance."

With irriation at the mere fact that I was disrespected when my request was NOT honored, I responded on 10/20/2015 at 11:35 PM, "Apparently, you do not honor requests very well. Once again, NO THANK YOU!"

Then, I receive a call that you [1-601-942-9017 a.k.a. Daniel Paulling] released an article on Tee anyway. Most importantly, you did not quote me correctly and you intentionally left out the truth about what I said in my text. So, my question is how can you really represent anythinig factual about what my son is saying. There is a great concern I have about people gossiping and not telling the truth about what is going on. It is not your place to report your opinions about what is going on about this situation. It appears to me you DO NOT understand or KNOW HOW to report facts. I DO NOT appreciate you misquoting me. Furthermore, I did not give you permission. As I mentioned earlier, this is the reason why I did not wish to speak to you about any interviews. Every reporter that has spoken to Tee has left out important, valuable information about his story. You have not heard THE TRUE STORY ABOUT TEE SHEPARD because it has not been shared yet. There is a right time and place for it all.

It seems to me you did this to "ruffle some feathers" and to get yourself some credit within your organization. Daniel Paulling, YOU DID NOT QUOTE THE TRUTH! Shame on you!
