Let's say 2021 is a season for the ages. Which outcome would people prefer?
A) Beat Bama, Lose to A&M, go to Atlanta at 11-1, where we lose to Georgia. Beat A-lister like Ohio St or Oklahoma in Access Bowl. Corral finishes 2nd for Heisman.
B) 11-1 regular season losing only to Bama, meaning no Atlanta. Make the Playoff and lose to Clemson in the semis. Corral finishes 2nd for Heisman
C) 10-2 with losses to Auburn and A&M, meaning no Atlanta. But we beat Bama behind legendary game by Corral, and Corral wins the Heisman. Win Access Bowl
Obviously, it's unlikely Corral wins the Heisman at 10-2 and not scenarios A/B, but none of this is likely, so just play along.
