JAVON PATTERSON
Meeting Thursday was shocking, but on Friday morning we were back to normal and had a great workout. We remain on a mission.
Luke will be a great head coach. He's passionate. He lives this. He loses his voice everyday with us. He'll give everything for this team.
The locker room isn't bad at all. Someone is going to have to feel this frustration and we get 12 games.
Our OL is gelled together and we have veterans. We'll handle (the new coach).
We just want someone on the OL who will give us their all. We're the heart of the offense.
Every player feels Luke's passion everyday.
Things happen in this world, but we had to get to work. Everybody was there on Friday morning at 6:30. The culture is about becoming great.

Right now I'm just praying for coach Freeze. We had no influence on what happened.
(asked if he thought about transferring) Like I said, it's just all so much right now. I love this school and my teammates. We're excited about this offense.
He's taken on a leadership role with the team.
Coming out of the spring after Longo got here in January and we got comfortable before spring. I felt really comfortable coming out of it. We're just excited to play.
To be honest coach Luke is awesome. You can see how invested he is in this university. He always gives halftime speeches and that lit a fire under my belt -- even when I wasn't playing. One of my goals is to give our all and win as many games so he's not a band-aid coach. There's no one better to lead this program than Luke.
I'm going to go out there and be myself. Longo has had success everything and I'll take anything I can learn from him that will benefit my game. We want to put ball down and show people what we have.
Two head coach and two coordinators and a redshirt hasn't been ideal. As a team and staff we're ready to run for it. With camp being right there and the outside stuff going on we're just so ready to play.
