SIAP. During a Bama score in the 2nd half we had a personal foul that was marked off on the ensuing kick. Therefore they kicked off from the 50 yard line. Bama purposefully didn't kick it through the endzone but rather kicked it close to the goal line. Rather let the ball go into the endzone (and get the ball on the 25 yard line) we chose to run it back and made it to about the 10 yard line (maybe not that far). The obvious oversight on our (coaches') part was that the kickoff coverage team was starting 15 yards closer to our kick returners and we had almost zero chance of getting back to the 25 yard line. Bama coverage guys arrived a split second after the ball did.
