Asking for prayers for my wife’s grandmother. A few days ago her grandfather, who can’t see very well caught their field on fire so she tried to put it out but ending up catching herself on fire in the process. She was flown to the burn center in Jackson where they had to do surgery. As a person in their 80s the doctor said it was a miracle she made it there in the first place. Well tonight she took a turn for the worse and called the family in. 2024 ended on a bad note for our family and seems 2025 is going to start the same way.
Her grandfather is obviously blaming himself and is a mess. She’s his caretaker. The inevitable will be crushing for him. We covet your prayers.
