I don't normally ask for things like this but if you are so inclined please give my 2 week old baby a prayer or good vibe or whatever you do. We knew he had a fairly rare heart defect early into the pregnancy that at minimum he would require a pacemaker soon after birth. He was born at 35 week on the 10th and had the pacemaker surgery 8 days later. We have been trying to get him off the vent and keep having setbacks. The team at UMMC think they have his pacemaker setting to where he can function properly but we just don't know yet. Like I said I'm not one to ask for much but it's my kid so I am. Also send up a prayer for my wife. He's 18 days old and she has yet to hold him. Sorry for the OT post but you guys and gals are a pretty good community when we look past our differences.
