My wife and I made 155k combined in 24’. This is about 12k more than 23’. We didn’t change any deductions. Can someone explain to me like I’m 5 how that would cause us to owe roughly 5k more in taxes this year to uncle ••••face? Would it help to file separately? BTW, I 100% share Neal’s sentiment(for those that don’t pay ANY taxes can eat a bag!)
