Ole Miss rounded out its basketball roster Friday, landing former Ouachita forward Hobert Grayson.
Grayson won Great America Conference Player of the Week honors eight times last season. The 6-foot-6, 195-pound, Gonzalez, La., native averaged 21.8 points and 11 rebounds per game last season.
He played at Holmes (Miss.) Community College before transferring to Ouachita. At Holmes, Grayson averaged 15.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
Known for his athleticism, Grayson will compete this summer for a minutes in what is shaping up to be a deep, versatile Ole Miss team.
Last season, Grayson averaged 46.4 percent from the floor and 31.6 percent (30-for-95) from the 3-point line. He had 83 offensive rebounds, 68 assists, 52 steals and 10 blocked shots.
