I've read the other threads but just to put this in one place and add a very small amount to it. This isn't just a rollover. As Rothstein reported, it's a six-year contract which is a normal length for Ole Miss contracts these days, but there are new terms to the deal. I don't know them yet; I was told yesterday Ole Miss will announce them in the coming days, though obviously someone may report them first.
I'm also told Beard's NIL budget is increased, and obviously he will attempt to raise that even more with individual donations, as well. He was good at that this past year. They got this done with at least three (I was told three but no clue how many total) schools making overtures toward him. So, all that being said, it's a new deal, not just a rollover, and there's a commitment from both sides here.
