You cannot grade the performance of playing the 3 by stats. If this player is getting double teamed each play and not letting either OLman get off him to block a LB, then RN or whoever is doing a great job in the scheme of team defense. However, when RN gets a 1 on 1 situation, then he needs to dominate. I could write a book here, but that's the short version. Summary: 10 blockers plus 1 ball carrier on offense. If the 3 Tech requires 2 blockers, that leaves 8 blocking 10. Then u get other dominate DL requiring 2 blockers and you got a great defense.
