I'm mostly setting this up this morning before I travel to Memphis for basketball. We're in a dead period that lasts until Jan. 2. Ole Miss will begin entertaining portal visitors again Jan. 3/4. The portal "closes" today, though players have five days after their team's bowl game or CFP game to enter the portal. Ole Miss' spring semester begins Jan. 21, so technically, players have until the final day of the drop/add period (I don't know when that is; likely Feb. 1-ish) to transfer.
