I feel like we are seeing some somewhat clear tiers develop in the SEC.
Tier 1 - Bama, Auburn, Florida, maybe A&M
I feel like this tier is separating a bit, with A&M the one still with the most to prove.
Tier 2 - Ole Miss, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee
All 4 of these can be second weekend teams.
Tier 3 - State, Vandy, Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, OU
These all could make the dance, but I doubt any has second weekend potential. It feels like there is some shuffling still to come here, particularly feels like OU may be working their way down a tier.
Tier 4 - LSU, SC
Enough said. Neither of these teams have quit, but it’s been tough.
Good news for us is though the double bye seems unlikely, getting to that single bye in the SEC tournament (seeds 5-8) feels pretty likely.
