Something I heard and came across was interesting.
6 SEC basketball programs have made a Final Four (UK, Ark, UF, Lsu, UGA, MSU)
11 Big 10 programs have made a Final Four
SEC = 43%
Big 10 = 79%
That is staggering to me. JT made a great point the other day about SEC basketball players really being athletes moreso than basketball players. I agree with that, but I also think other conferences have the better coaches too. Maybe they are tied to each other - the elite basketball coaches want to coach the basketball players, not the "athletes". But I see that slowly changing in the SEC. There are/will be some really good coaches in the league. That should up everyone's game.
