I just looked at the Rivals 250 and the ESPN 300 for 2026, and I am quite overwhelmed by the depth of the state of MS. I don't ever remember seeing ESPN give two separate players 5 stars within this state. For that rag to give two separate players 5 stars in MS, it must mean the class is one of the best ever. Specifically, this may be the best set of defensive players to ever come out of the Mississippi high school system. I hate seeing Tristen Keys commit to LSU, but I got a feeling Lane and Austin Simmons will take care of that.
