For the one in Noel, MO..... the plant closing will lay off 1,500 people. The town population is......... 2,100. Basically, wiping out an entire town. Man, that is awful.
Record profits a couple of years ago during da' 'Rona, now wiping out an entire town. Literally.
Corp America at it's finest!
I can't remember the last time I bought any Tyson products (not just chicken, but pork, beef, turkey) except for their grilled chicken breast strips - we use them on a salad for lunch. They recently had a recall on this product due to Listeria. This product was produced in Dexter, MO. Tyson is closing this plant, too.
