  I am told that as of last night Jeff Lebby had not received a contract from Mississippi State officials. I am told that he is expecting to receive it today and that hopefully things will be worked out this afternoon. If that timeline proves to be correct, then we could have a formal announcement from the University this evening.
  Lebby is repped by CAA, which is Jimmy Sexton's group. I am told that one of the things that is being negotiated out is the salary pool for off the field staff and that the hope is to add some positions within the ranks of the support staff. My contact had not had any contact with Lebby this morning, but expects to later in the day. My source remains optimistic that a deal will be reached and announced soon.
