Southwest has been declining for the past couple of years and no longer offers the value it once did. Now it’s worse.
The Chase Southwest card was the main reason I stuck with the airline, but now I’m ready to switch.
I’ve heard great things about the Amex Platinum and am leaning in that direction. For context, I travel a decent amount for work (but not excessively) and do a lot of entertaining in town using my card. I know Amex Platinum has strong airline benefits and includes TSA PreCheck and CLEAR credits.
For those who have it—how has your experience been? Any other cards I should consider?
