The dead period begins tonight at midnight. There are some who are saying prospects who arrive on campus for an official visit before midnight tonight can stay 48 hours. I'll try to find out today if that's true and if that impacts Ole Miss. That could explain some of the Spencer Rattler visiting South Carolina early this week stuff that was circulating yesterday.
Some guys are leaving campus today. I'm going over to campus momentarily and will try to get comments from exiting visitors.
A reminder: The transfer portal will continue through the spring and into the summer. Also, there is a February signing period, though most prospects will sign on Wednesday.
Ole Miss offered Shiner, Texas, '23 ATH Dalton Brooks Saturday.
Ole Miss has been pursuing FIU transfer OT Miles Frazier. He is in Baton Rouge this weekend after visiting N.C. State earlier in the week. His stock is skyrocketing.
