They can hang with just about anybody, I’ve watched every SEC team thus far. Obviously, UTsux is the real challenge but everyone has flaws this year. What this team has that it’s missed the past two seasons, is GRIT. A belief that you’re never out of a game and should win em all. It’s nice feeling like they can turn it around in any evening and down to their last out, that was my favorite part of the teams leading up to the Ship and the team that won it.
What really encouraged me this weekend is that these boys have gelled, despite being almost an entirely new team, they’ve found a way to start playing for each other. That’s the recipe for playing meaning baseball headed into June. Gotta get at least 6 more to be in and 8 more to host.
