I know people are going to rail me for this because of the “we have to generate revenue” and the “you can just setup your own tent” crowd but just got my tent quote this morning.
Last year 4 tents, 3 tables, an ice chest, 20 chairs, and tv + satellite and generator for them, was $650 a game totaling $4550 for 7 games.
Same setup this year for 8 games was just quoted to me for $12,250
@ $100 a Tent x 4 Tents x 8 games that’s $3200 extra plus another game is another $650. To me the math just ain’t mathin. Seems like it’s should have been $8400 which is still ridiculous if you ask me.
Has anyone else been quoted for more than the extra game and the $100 per tent increase? Were vendors hit for more additional costs than just the $100
