I saw the thread with all the condolences, and I really appreciate your thoughts following my father's passing. He's been fighting a failing heart for quite some time, and he passed away on Friday night. The funeral is this afternoon, and I plan to be back tomorrow.
It's been a tough year, but I was able to spend a good bit of time with dad in the last couple weeks, and those days are a comfort as this emotional whirlwind continues. Dad seemed to be at peace with the situation and trusted in his relationship with the Lord. And he's no longer in pain. Makes me feel selfish.
But, again, thank you so much. I appreciate the relationships with many of you on this site, and your words have helped me deal with some tough circumstances.
