Oregon and Tennessee apparently lead for Pregnon—he is at UT now and has apparently not even scheduled a visit to Ole Miss yet—an O-lineman we desperately needed.
It’s been a month since we have gotten a significant commitment. All the recent ones are underwhelming.
And there are few if any true “big fish” on our commitment list.
Our high ranking of portal classes is due more to quantity than quality. Fair to say that Auburn, LSU, and Texas A&M have more high-quality commits and none of these three were even very active in the portal until this year.
It was a nice little 2- year run thanks to our head start, but we really seem to have run out of gas….
