In my opinion, yours may vary, the offensive struggles date back to the last third of last season. Of course, a weak offensive line can make it tough to be efficient, but the rhythm, tempo and play calling were bad as well. Other teams can design drag routes, delayed releases and innovative screen packages, that take less time to develop. We run a speed sweep as a slow developing option off the run game. The line is already in the backfield before the receiver gets to the edge. It appears that the book is out on this offense to an extent. I will get blasted for this take maybe, but it doesn’t make it not true.
