There is some smoke about FSU about to make a move out of the ACC, at least among some FSU types,,,,

They have a meeting scheduled for Aug 2 to discuss conference realignment. Yes the grant of rights appears to tie the ACC up until the mid 2030's but it's being implied that FSU is just going to go for it and take the whole thing to court (and also that their decision might start the ACC crumbling anyway and there would be no one left to pay.)
Now whether that move would be to the Big 10 or SEC is unknown even to their 'insiders', perhaps it has been kept very much on the down low (no one really had any idea that USC/UCLA and Texas/Oklahoma was about to happen when it did.
But as Neal has said the top of the ACC can't just wait around and fall that far behind, if FSU or others have to pay $150 million it might actually be worth it over the long run, but they seem to be the first that wants to legally challenge it.
Also Oregon for sure and probably Washington are interested in the Big 12, they have been told by the Big 12 Commish that they are not going to be a 'pit stop' for them on the way to the Big 10 and would have to commit long term to be taken. Big 12 is saying they have '1 slot' left but may be a ploy as it appears Arizona moving could be imminent. Don't think the Big 12 would turn down Oregon/Washington after that,,, the Pac 12 just becomes the Mountain West then.
Oregon has sort of got wind/fear that Stanford may trump them in the Big10 order if there is any chance that that might help the Big10 in their pursuit of the Irish. (and it might, they would basically have all their major rivals in the Big 10 then)
I would think all this probably gets worked out before the first kickoff this season.
FSU twitter sure seems confident about something (I get it, they are one of the worse groups out there, ha),,,, but it's an interesting time for College Football,,, it's going to be a scramble!
